General information

Name Acrobat® WG
Formulation A water dispersable granule
Ingredients 90 g/kg dimethomorph (cinamic acid amides), 600 g/kg mancozeb (ditho-carbamate)
Label Acrobat® WG Label
Safety Data Sheet Acrobat® WG SDS
Acrobat® WG is a mixture of dimethomorph and mancozeb. The mode of action of dimethomorph is to act by disrupting fungal cell–wall formation. This unique mode of action means that no cross–resistance with phenylamide–resistant strains has been observed or is anticipated. The anti–sporulant activity of dimethomoph reduces the potential for reinfestation. Some curative effect has been shown, but in practice, Acrobat® WG is best used and recommended as a prophylactic treatment. Dimethomorph is translaminar with local systemicity when applied to the foliage.
The compatibility of Acrobat® WG has been tested on many of the products in common use in grape vines and potatoes, with no adverse effect. However, as formulations of other products may change and water quality may vary from farm to farm, it is recommended to carry out a physical compatibility test prior to the application of a tank mixture. When using in combination with other products, full cognizance should be taken of all WARNINGS, PRECAUTIONS and DIRECTIONS FOR USE mentioned on that label.
